Mid week, with forecasts of showers and 15 degrees, we had almost the whole place to ourselves. Fire pits are great, plenty of natural wood around (bit wet of course), the river is clean, toilet pretty good and rubbish bins were emptied on Friday. Pretty little spot with great facilities for free! And close to some amazing walks up Heartz mountain. I imagine it gets pretty busy on weekends and there’s not much room so you’d need a back up plan.
