Campsites

A great open space; natural camping area. Where you don’t have to be sitting right next to other campers. I would rather longer grass and to be in nature. Than manicured lawns. Some powered sights with water hook up. Amenities are basic as it’s a scout camping facility. Has basic toilet & shower facilities. Heated pool that can be used when not booked for events. These are listed on whiteboard near pool. Caretakers have always been very friendly and helpful. Dogs allowed. But; need to be on a leash at all times. Even if your dog is fine; other peoples may not be. So just follow the rules of the place or don’t go there. It’s simple. Also park has been forced to close previously from Samford residents concerns after seeing campers dogs chasing/causing harm to resident native wildlife. So if you want to be able to keep this open as an option to stay. Just follow the rules; please.
