After three nights free camping it was time for some home comforts. We got in early and rang the number. Told to pick whatever site we fancied and the caretaker Jim would be round later in the afternoon. Lovely hot water, clean facilities. 12 powered sites, the ones towards the front of park which are easily overlooked offer shade, and privacy. We set up, did a bit of supply shopping at the well stocked community store which is not really overly expensive. Had a drive out to Billiburning Rock and were met by the siting of an echidna. Returned to camp where we paid $26 for site and received a voucher $10 to spend in any of the businesses in town so it was only $16 for a great night. Highly recommend this CP.
