Camping is not free now, but it is a good spot for quick stop. Toilets are not monitored, no toilet rolls or paper towels when I went there.
Good little stop over to break up a long drive. Has powered and non powered sites and cabins. Unfortunately they had power issues which we had to use alternate powered options. No camp kitchen that we seen. The roadhouse area was nice. Meals sounded mouth watering. It’s air conditioned too with a pool table. Very basic shop on site with fuel. Overall apart from the electrical hiccup it’s a nice spot for a night stop.
Nice stay $25 unpowerd for a remote campsite is fine for me, coral Bay unpowerd $68 fuel was 20 cent more if that's a problem fuel up so you don't have to fuel up there only thing was no shade it was hot
Nice quiet spot in middle of nowhere & great for leg stretch. Half way (sort of) between Clermont & Charters Towers for fuel, refreshments etc. stop and buy something not just to use the loo. Without these remote services there would be nothing. Oh and don’t be negative about infrastructure its costs $$ to run this remote business.
