Wombats were our noisiest neighbours! Sitting by the fire at night we could hear and watch them keeping the grass trimmed. Accessible only by 4wd this is one of the best camping spots we have ever been. Middle weekend of NSW school holidays and there was only a dozen or so other campers spread out over the several different camping grounds. We were near one of the 2 pit toilets available and still only had 3 neighbours (each were at least 200-300 metres away). We used the crystal clear creek water for washing but didn’t drink it.
