Beautiful spot, stayed two nights mid September, clean drop toilets, gas BBQs , bit windy in evenings 4wd needed but some normal cars made it in if you know the track as some soft sandy spots with lots of soft passing areas as one vehicle wide road( at your own risk can cost a fortune to pull you out ) . Big yellowfin whiting in channel sand banks and was told snapper and flathead have been caught there. Pay caretaker's at campground entry , was $55 first night as we did not have a national Park permit then $33 the next . was worth the sunsets , mornings and peace and quiet . Highly recommended.
