Managed to get a unpowered campig spot last minute during the school holiday, which was very lucky! Campsite by the boat ramp (tidal) and next to mangroves. Facilities are a fair hike with portaloos close by. These weren't cleaned very often and they were dirty (with unpleasant finds in the bowl) during the entire 2 day stay. Staff was nice at reception and there is plenty to do for kids. Boat ramp gets crowded with people fishing and people can get a bit cranky when you are trying to use it to actually launch a boat or get it back on the trailer as they have to move out of the way....People were using cast nets near the boat ramp and reception had not stressed re: fishing rules in the area as cast nets are not allowed in NSW. A little disappointing. Very dog friendly with lots of places to go for a walk nearby and an off leash dogpark. Access to the park and directions were a little unclear but the park itself is very spacious.
