Lovely quiet campground with mature trees and a waterhole. Stayed for four nights longer than we planned.

Flat camp sites some with fire pits and log benches. No phone service must book in advance through QPWS. We took the Opalton road rather than driving through the NP. Was water in Surprise Creek but not across the road was cold but refreshing. Single drop toilet clean and well stocked with toilet paper.
