This was my young family's first camping trip. Its a smallish area but there is only a certain amount of allotments so shouldnt get to crowded. We spent 2 nights in a campertrailer with anex here and had one of the bigger site areas. Aprt from booking you just have to get there before everyone to get the good sites if you require a decent sized spot. Platapus were playing in the beautiful creek alongside water birds and turtles. There are compost toilets on site and a short walk to the information centre will get you to flushing toilets. There are a good amount of easy rainforest walks which are all signed at each fork so you dont get lost. Also the information centre has a cafe which has great coffee and milkshakes and the best scones with jam and cream i have had. WARNING it is always 5 ish degrees cooler here sometimes more so prepare yourself.
