I visited just after Christmas 2019. Was a relatively quiet campground. I think I was the only one in a tent with a few camper trailers and a caravan. Beautiful spot right on the lake with a 1km sand bridge separating the lake from the ocean. Pit toilet only so you have to be self sufficient. You can walk down the beach to Dalmeny if you want supplies or it’s a quicker drive down there. The walk along the beach was nice though. You’re well protected from the wind and the wildlife is amazing. Emus, kangaroos, wallabies and so much bird life. Was an amazing few days. Will definitely be back.
