I tried to camp here with my partner and our dog and it was so windy we couldn’t even put our tent up. The publican was so lovely to us and let us put our things in one of the buildings so we could put the mattress in the car and sleep there. Great facilities, the toilet/shower was very clean and the shower was amazing. The pub meals were great and the atmosphere was so cosy (guests playing music and singing, open fire...) and Burra itself is just an incredible place to explore.
