Date of Stay: Jan 2025 Weather: 31, 76% humidity, Sunny days, stormy nights Review: 1. Ease of Check-In: 3:30pm, reception staff very polite & accommodating, easy check in. 2. Site Quality: Power site 36, grassy & concrete slab, power & water easily accessible. 3. Amenities: plentiful with camp kitchen w bbq, microwave fridge & utensils. Multiple toilet blocks a bit dated but functional. Coin laundry washing $5, dryer unsure of price. 4. Food Options: Basic hot food options to order fresh including pizzas, fish & chips, & kids/gluten free options. They also have cold drinks both non alcoholic & alcoholic. Basic necessities like pasta, pasta sauce, baindaids, nappies ect. 5. View/Surroundings: National park rainforest at the back of the park & the front of the park enters into a magnificent beach. The beach has a large tides & is a beautiful view. We witnessed a lightning show that was spectacular as the sun was setting & the whole sky was on crackling with display. Maintenance here do a great job keeping the park clean & trimmed. 6. Family-Friendly: Yes, welcoming. 7. Connectivity: No, I bar if lucky. 8. Price: $33 powered caravan site 9. Overall Experience: This is an overall fantastic experience. Combining the lack of wifi forcing you to connect with your surroundings complemented by beautiful morning & afternoon beach walks is something special. The kangaroos come out at sunrise & sunset. The grassy caravan sites are welcoming & comfortable. There is flies & mosquites on sunset but it’s only brief. Lots of exploring to be done here.
