This is a handy overnight camp spot; for the purpose of having a space off the road to sleep, and then keep going. It’s extremely basic, but quite pleasant. No facilities whatsoever, but there are a few campsites with makeshift fire pits. No signage on road to enter the site, so just follow the GPS and you’ll come to a dirt track entering the site. Once inside, you’ll see a sign “Claude’s Pond” on a tree so you’ll know you’re in the right place. There’s one big open space for campers etc, and then a track leading to smaller campsites. This was the perfect spot for us after completing 800km from Adelaide towards the Blue Mountains!
