Beautiful spot. Good facilities. Almost a 4WD track to the camp site but still quite a serviceable road. Good selection of spots to camp on. Plenty of wild life around and heaps of space for the kids... Read more

Turned up and was just about to sign the COVID register when the owner asked if we wanted firewood. When I replied that I had a chainsaw and Iā€™d go and get my own he told us we couldnā€™t bring firewood onto the property and we had to buy it off him for $25 a bag. At that point I said forget about it weā€™ll go and stay up the road. Then old mate started to nut off, telling us to get off his property and to come back here and Iā€™ll f***ing deck ya. The only thing missing were the banjos and shotgun. Stay away.

The campsite looked great on Anycamp so I took a drive there to check it out. I wasnā€™t able to get through to see it as the track into the site (off the main road) was too rough and rutted for my 2wd van. Personally I wouldnā€™t go in without a 4x4 or a decent SUV or Ute. I canā€™t comment on the site as I had to turn around about 500m into the property. The owner did say he would drag my van in with a tractor though, so that was nice. I will be back to check it out when I get a 4x4

Question:

Are dogs allowed ?

Answer:

Good question John I've never had the need to ask, but given how relaxed it is I'de think there would be no problems on that front. Give Keith or Margaret a ring they are very understanding. by Paul R.
