If you’ve got kids and looking for family fun this campsite is great. Access to the river and boats etc. Swimming pool and a fantastic new water playground with fountains. There are some other things available like cabins and bikes for hire. I’ll be honest, the facilities need an update. The café is pretty run down. If they put a decent wood fired pizza oven in they would make an absolute killing. I get this is a campsite and part of the charm is to go back to basics, but could all do with a bit of love with the showers and café area.
