There’s only 3 parks to camp in at Denham. This one looked the nicest online. Very friendly staff who were happy to help us choose the best spot for us. Huge powered sites at a cost of $47/night. That’s pricey considering the drive to get here from the highway is 130km, and who knows how many hundred km up or down that hideous highway you’ve had to travel before that. There were no unpowered sites left when we arrived, so maybe book ahead if you want that. Showers are great. Very clean. There’s a TV room and a lookout to have your afternoon wine or beer at. Great spots for buses. Lots of huge buses here. Coin operated washing machines and dryers. Disappointed they aren’t card operated. No shade. Close to town that I’m about to explore.
