great little spot this one. about 45min from Bairnsdale, the road us narrow and winding in places so please take it easy on the way in/out. the road is ok for 2WD but I wouldn't advise crossing the river in one. 2 large open flat areas, designated fire pits, drop loo (not one of the nicest but it is what it is). walking tracks nearby, easy access to 2 great swimming holes, the water is beautiful, incredibly clear - watch out for the tadpoles and frogs! the swimming holes get busy on weekends,if you follow the river down stream there is another gorgeous spot to sit in the shade and swim (spent 6hrs+ here on a hot day) there are 2 very curious goanna's that frequent the area so be careful if you have a dog or kids with you. highly recommend visiting this one.
