If you are looking for a place to stop and rest for one night with decent toilets and a picnic area I would definitely recommend this place. The bathrooms are quite nice, especially for a free campsite. The toilets actually flush, rather than just being outhouses. The sinks outside the toilets are fantastic; they’re even really good to wash your dishes with. There’s 1 picnic table to sit at, and not a ton of people come here so it’s general free to use. And they have to rubbish bins by the picnic area. There are not a lot of grassy spots, which makes it hard to choose where to pitch a tent; but there are a few spots that make comfort slightly manageable. The lot is a huge space. The only thing that wasn’t great about this place was the fact that it was right beside the highway; so vehicles passing by are quite loud. That’s why I wouldn’t stay here for more than one night.
