This caravan park has changed it’s name to “Discovery Park Goolwa” and is in the process of being renovated with great potential. Lots of new cabins and new amenities including a great playground and new swimming pool. Plenty of powered sites with grass or concrete slabs. The only gripe we have is that it is charging top dollar but is not finished. We arrived at 5 pm to a closed reception but after ringing the phone number was told that we should have booked online. The staff member was clearly annoyed by being disturbed to check us in. After paying the $40/n fee we went to our site to find that it was right next to a building site with piles of rubble at the edge of the site. Upon looking around there were at least 6 empty sites away from the building and rubble area that would have been more pleasant. It was as if we had been given the worst site out of spite. Not a good customer service. We are also in the holiday accommodation business and would never have treated our guests this way. What a shame!
