avoid this campsite the first and second weekend of December if you are hoping for a quiet trip. a large group of regulars are there every year and play music at deafening levels on a massive speaker to all hours of the morning. the music itself wasn't bad, it was just the volume and total lack of respect for the people around them. gorgeous campsite, easy river access, 4 well maintained toilets. lots of flat areas and established fire pits. seasonal road closures from june to november. would have loved to stay longer but we packed up and moved on (as did other people). will be back another time.
