Great Western Racing & Recreation Reserve
The Great Western Rodeo is being held on Good Friday . All campers are welcome and you may still camp for free but there is a cost if you choose to attend the Rodeo.
We had an amazing time here - stopped in for the night on the way through, caretakers number on the gate as you arrive and they greet you and show you the facilities ($15 for the night). Clean toilet and shower facilities, $1 per minute for hot shower which was totally fine and no toilet paper in the toilets (due to people stealing in the past) so make sure you bring your own. The views are lovely and it’s nice for a walk, so many kangaroos around and wildlife, was amazing to see. Quite dry at the moment like anywhere else so suggested to have a mat for the ground for any furry friends as they can get quite dirty. Overall, was perfect for our needs and we had a great stay!
