Small but charming caravan park near the Stromatolites at Hamelin Pool. Must be self-contained. No potable water and must take rubbish on departure. Small dirt base for $11 per person per night unpowered. Facilities include flushing toilets and showers, camp kitchen, swimming pool. Very weak Telstra reception but no Optus/TV. Easy access to Stromatolites via 1.5 km trail which also goes through the old shell quarry and the hill which offers a view of the park and sunsets. There is also a museum at the old telegraph station on-site.
