Lovely quiet place. We set up right on the river bank and launched our kayaks just out front. Plenty of spots and only a couple of other campers here. There’s two long drop toilets just a bit back from the boat ramp. Very dusty and cobwebby but no smell so we were happy to use them. Someone has posted some photos here of bbq areas and picnic benches and talked about clean toilets. Note that those pics are not from the Soapworks Bend campsite. She has taken them at Sandy Point, which is a bit further up river towards Hay. (Must have been confused, as Sandy Point isn’t listed on Anycamp at present.) Sandy Point is a free spot with clean flush toilets, gas BBQ’s, picnic shelters and a sandy beach. Looks nice. We might stay on the way back through.
