We camped here early November. This is a magical paradise that’s tucked away just past Rossville. We had the place almost to ourselves, 50 acres camping area to choose from. We camped right on the river. Croc free swimming and plenty of wildlife. There is a lovely walk to Homerule falls , and you can base yourself here for a hike to cedar bay. Remote but with all facilities onsite. Showers toilets etc. Friendly and helpful manager Umberto. One night there was a massive down pour and everything got flooded. He even took the time to drive out to us and check we were ok in our tiny tent This place was very special and we can’t wait to return. A place of peace and tranquility. Of great natural beauty. There are resident platypuses in the river but we didn’t see one this time. A good reason to return. Highly recommend.
