Close to Lincoln’s rock. Was ok. Long and boring track. No water. The lake is also quite dirty. But the camping site was decent and allows fires. Would not recommend on a hot day, and pack plenty of water!

Basic campground with a toilet. There is no drinking water available so be prepared! Also it is ~10km hike on a fire trail to get to the site. Do not recommend on a hot day. Probably best to get there by mountain bike as the walk is so boring!! Also the lake nearby is quite dirty. But it’s alright if you’re looking for a free campsite in the blue mountains.

Question:

Is it still a walk to get to the campsite?

Question:

Hello there! Is it easy to reach with city car?

Answer:

Ingar campground & trail is currently closed to vehicles with no estimated time of re-opening according to the National Parks. Walkers & cyclists can still access the trail & campsite. You can park your car at Queen Elisabeth Drive and walk 9.5km along the dirt road. I believe the road was 2WD accessible prior to the closure. I think it has been closed for almost 2 due to private property works. Hope this information is helpful to you and other campers. by Benny C.
