This place is a hidden paradise. Kalgan Pool is nice amd pleasant with great spots to camp but the road on is even better. It runs along the Kalgan Creek and has many isolated spots to camp at right on the creek. Numerous easy water crossings make it heaps of fun. It is on a BHP site so you need to register at the Newman Tourist Info Centre. Its just a quick formality and its free. Its also valid for a months.
