Beautiful site right on the water. Cyclone had just hit the East Coast so getting in was a bit hairy, and the tracks around the site are quite soft sand, would recommend 4WD. But once you’re there you... Read more

The DES website (https://parks.des.qld.gov.au/before- you-visit/dogs-and-pets) say that assistance dogs are permitted and that “Certified support dogs must wear an identifying coat or harness and the approved badge or tag”. by Mark S.

Can you access this area with a caravan?

Answer:

Yes. Well we did, but it is a sandy track and it gets a bit chopped up where the entrance track meets the beach area. We got bogged briefly but a couple of Maxtrax boards got us out. by Joe M.
