This old homestead has been made available as a free campsite for travellers by the Matthews family. It has a clean flush toilet available which was great. You can also go inside and view the interior of the old family home, which has been left with furniture, photographs and newspaper clippings of its heyday. It has been maintained very lovingly by the family and it is a marvellous gesture they have made. If you grew up in the 50s or 60s as I did then you will really appreciate it. A real highlight of our trip inland.
