I would say the park is in a great location. Its ammenities block is great, typical needs some attention but the hot water showers were fantastic. The only reason for the 3 stars is due to paying for powered grass sites and unfortunately they are dust bowls. With the intense winds during our stay it made it un enjoyable at times thru out our 3 night stay.

We stopped in overnight and found this a friendly and well managed holiday park. We took an unpowered site just past the kiosk and we were entertained in the afternoon by the antics of the quirky calls and exuberant antics of the Apostlebirds and Babblers. Then a mob of kangaroos came out to graze. Just so lovely and relaxing. Access road in from Wellington is undergoing some badly needed repairs, but that will likely be done by end of February.

A great spot with the freedom to camp where ever you like for unpowered camping. Quiet when we stayed (September midweek) with no other campers seen during our stay. Great for dogs.

Only had a two night stopover on our way to broken hill and Mildura. Did not want to leave this spot with amazing views as you can see from my pics and 50 plus centimetre yellow belly right at camp and a short walk to toilets and a very welcomed hot shower for the minus temps at night in july
