We were lucky enough to find a spot with a bin and concret slab to set up the camper trailer and far enough from the long drop not to smell it! There were ample spots that we were not disturbed by anyone. We went in winter, the days were nice but when the sun went down it was instantly cold. Thankfully we could warm by the fire, the lake had some water and a couple of varieties of ducks. Other friendly birds joined us at the site, happy to jump up on your chair to say g'day. The kids enjoyed exploring the area and skimming rocks across the lake.
