4x4 for most sights, there are toilets and cold showers available at the day visit carpark. Toilets near the lake have been permanently closed as the septic system cannot cope with the demand. It costs $10 per vehicle per day (yes the ranger does come every day all year round). Great for canoeing or boating, water skiing is permitted. There have been no fish in the dam since 1977 when the salt content peaked and all the stocked fish died. It is fresh or salt depending on time of year.
