Beautiful spot - lovely sunsets and heaps of birds.
This is a basic camping area with toilets and showers on the edge of a beautiful lagoon. I have rated it by my needs which are not as high as some others might need. I found it to be quiet and friendly
An oasis in the outback. Toilets, hot showers, dump point. Only unpowered sites, but they allow generators. Water is untreated, so you'll need to bring your own. Caretakers are fantastic. About 24 klms to Normonton. $8 pp pn. Great seats at the lagoon to watch the incredible sunsets. Bird life is prolific. If you fish...this is the place for you to catch a Barramundi. I would definitely go again.
