Fantastic campground, only an hour and 15 mins drive north west of Melbourne. This area is brand new and massive with lots of places to camp. We stayed here on Easter weekend and even then there was plenty of place for us to camp. The toilets are a bit of a walk from the designated camping area’s so keep that in mind. Can get a bit rowdy but hey it’s a free campground in a state park, waddya want? The suggested walks depart driving distance away but there are plenty of management tracks that are great for a walk right next to the campground. It was totally dry and pretty dusty when we were here, no water in the river at all.
