Simple campsite, showers and a sink with some drinking water $20 pp is very steep for what they are offering - no rubbish removal (disguised by the fact it’s for the environment but no recycling or compost options so I don’t believe this), no camp kitchen or pool or anything else on offer Perks - free washing machine and free firewood Lots of birds to view and just outside park if you can’t get into the government ones
Visited June 2022. This park was a pleasant surprise. It’s under new managers who are doing massive improvements, are friendly and helpful. Beautifully grassed areas under shady trees. Excellent amenities. Free washing machine. Recommend.
The campground is excellent especially for large caravans and motorhomes. There are plenty of space, many powered sites, toilet, shower and fire places at the sites. The kiosk has the essentials , even wine. There is no phone reception, Optus didn’t bother to cover that area although there is reception ten km further at Wangi Falls (cafe!! ) Therefore no internet. The safari Campsite has fire places, common kitchen place with bbq. The tents and bungalows looked quote run down. The camp is pet friendly!
