Super spacious, nice and quiet, so much grassy space, sites on the hill or down at the water, we only stopped for the night and it was beautiful.
Expansive with many toilets and bins placed throughout, but there is NO Telstra reception here. At the entrance, yes, but once you drive into the campsite, it appears you have one bar of 4G, but you don’t. I drove around extensively trying too. I’d just come from not having reception in a state forest and pulled up here late, expecting it to be good, as it lists Telstra and Optus 4G. I am also a telecommunications engineer so I’m familiar with what is mobile reception and what is not. I had to go to Sunny Corner, which does have one bar of 4G Telstra reception that actually works. It must be right on the edge here. Maybe Optus works, but not my new iPhone on Telstra.
I've been here multiple times with a group and will be returning. The pit toilets are cleaned by the perminent residents there, just rember to bring toilet paper. The road in is dirt and very pot hole heavy, but I get my MX-5 out there no problem. Just be aware, the grass can be very slushy in places so check before you drive out onto it, I definitly didn't nearly get stuck. I will be back as it's a great spot for small to large groups.
Lovely spot to camp. Pretty green grassed paddock style camping with scattered trees. It was very windy when we visited in June. Not sure if this is usually the case but it made thing a bit chilly. Pretty spot none the less.

10 campgrounds with toilets and rainwater near Hill End, NSW
Many campers consider rainwater and toilets a bare minimum at campgrounds and luckily Australia is full of those. Here are 10 campgrounds we found near Hill End, NSW which have toilets and rainwater. No need to bring a shovel this time (although do bring toilet paper - campgrounds aren't always stocked).
