Great spot on the foothill of Mt Beckworth, surrounded by granite rocks, old manna gums (hence the camp name) and wildlife. You can feel the Dreamtime all around you! Drive in, two picnic tables, one fire pit with a swivel bbq hot plate attached to it for cooking, plenty of shade and lots of flat places to camp. No water, toilets or other facilities. Perfect Optus 4G reception. Heaps of firewood! Walking trail to the summit which is well worth the effort. There is also camping at The Dam (not listed on this app) and Cork Oaks (has a toilet, see my review). And honestly, this mountain is made for wild camping (which I’m not endorsing) with many beautiful spots you could set up camp.
