Campsites

A large and well campground with sealed road access that now goes under the revised spelling of Mardukal. Plenty of shady trees were welcome and the amenities were kept clean and the hot showers were great! No need to pre-book as the on-site camp manager comes around each day to collect the fees. Has a short walk to the scenic Mardukal Billabong and if you go down late in the afternoon then you may be able to see the local saltwater crocodile as we did. Also only a short drive to Cooinda and Yellow Waters Billabong where the famous wetland cruises depart from. It is well worth the site fees. Kakadu is just marvellous.
