Amazing free camp just north of Bendigo. We stayed last weekend (June) and there was plenty of space to set up. Sites are a little uneven but nothing too difficult to deal with. Toilets stocked with toilet paper, plenty of shelter and some really nice walks nearby. There are two lookouts an hour return from the campground, we went to McCloud’s for sunrise and it was amazing! Pretty rocky and some steep steps though so might take longer if you struggle with that stuff. Easily one of the best free camps I’ve ever been to. Dog friendly too!
