The Minyip caravan park is located an easy walk from Main Street and is adjacent to a wetlands reserve with great walking tracks, exercise equipment and a small fishing lake. Camping is fairly basic with parking on gravel, but with power, a good clean amenities block, shaded BBQ area, kids playground and the best sunset views over acres of grassland at an affordable price, it’s a great place to stay a while. Minyip is such a picturesque country town that it’s been featured in quite a few TV shows and movies and was known as “Coopers Crossing” - the base of the Flying Doctors TV show and more recently was featured in the movie “The Dry”.
