Place lovely, facilities great. Unfortunately I think we were just a bit unlucky. The site was hugely busy when we were there with all 8 sites full plus a high-school age group. To add to the bustle, there were swarms of bugs which made things a bit annoying. My missing star is just due to the fact there were more than 50 people and that should be better managed my act parks and wildlife.

A love a good simple and quiet bush campsite, and this fits the bill perfectly. A superb location for star gazing. Also a good base for walking or cycling to the nearby huts, especially Demandering Hut. Nice picnic benches and fit pits. Simple toilets and a water tank.
