This is amazing. I shouldn’t be telling people about this spot as there’s not a lot of level spots, not a lot of spots actually, more chance if camping. This spot is a the base of Mt Bogong, Victoria’s highest mountain. Right on the Kiewa River, always running water. Toilets and camp cooking spots. STRONGLY suggest summer site as it can snow. Whatever you do in life go to this place. If you look you’ll find a few free camps along the Kiewa River.
