We were in a tent, the camp site we were put on was RIGHT NEXT to a busy intersection on the main road ( only road) into shoalhaven heads. 1st night had the worst sleep ever as cars, bikes and trucks went past 10 meteres from our tent, slowing down and speeding up. Plus a hoon doing burnouts at 4am, so close we thought they were going to come through the flimsy fence and run over us. We asked if we could please move, they offered to put us down the back on an ensuite tent site, but would not give us access to the ensuite. It had an ensuite because it was very far away from the toilet block, yet reception said, it’s quite a hike if you do decide to move down there to the amenities. Never again! 2nd night a little less traffic, but same deal, noisy, unsettling and a bad place to put a camp site. Reception said they had only ever had 1 other complaint in 35 years, but I guarantee ppl just didn’t come back. In all other respects, the place was clean and tidy. Games room you had to pay to use anything. Customer service was unapologetic an unsympathetic that we had paid to camp with our kids, and we’re so tired on the Saturday we couldn’t even enjoy the holiday with them and had no energy to take them around or do anything with them. Ruined weekend due to a misplaced campsite and greedy tight arsed owners.

We booked a powered site. It was level and grassed. Facilties were clean & covid safe. Plenty of activities for the whole family with a pool, jumping pillow, walking track and outdoor gym, firepit, tennis, just a few of the things to do. Would recommend 👌 .
