Very quiet and relaxed atmosphere, nice spaced out lots of decent size. The whole campsite is shaded under the rainforest canopy and the beach is a stone's throw from the site. You can hear the ocean from your lot. There are no showers on site, and the toilet block can be a bit stanky but the whole site is well maintained with regular patrols every morning from rangers. Take plenty of water for drinking, cooking and cleaning with you. The nearest shops are less than 10 mins up the road to Cape Tribulation (head to the turtle rock cafe, all one road) they close early though so be prepared. All in all a perfect place to get off the grid (no phone reception once you get past the ferry crossing) and camp in the rainforest!
