Was happy upon arrival until I was yelled at by workers about my awning. When I attempted to calm the man down my dog barked at him and he nearly lost the plot. I then called corporate and made a formal complaint because I’m just tired of overbearing men at caravan parks thinking they can yell. I’m going to assume he had had a couple as I do not drink and can tell with people when their reactions do not match the situation. He ran off, I put my awning back in and they came back to my camp two more times to fully harass me. I then requested a refund as all I wanted was peace and got treated so oddly. I can say the lady in the office was incredibly unkind to myself and my husband. She was overly defensive of her groundsman (maybe they are a couple?) and all I wanted was a solution. She gave none and keep bothering me. I left and am now at a very nice upscale park with very kind staff and have had not one person yell at me about anything. You know sometimes these caravan parks attract some odd balls and I will say this park needs to be re staffed immediately. It was nearly empty as well and I can see why. They are rude and unfriendly and maybe rethink have receptionists with purple hair And bad attitudes. Ps I was a hotel receptionist for 11 years and will never understand how costumer service is a lost art. The art of attending to a guests needs a creating solutions instead of walls. I will not be back and it was my first time in nsw. I’m now in Byron bay and loving it Skip ferry reserve you will regret it Also your shower heads are filled with black mold yuk
Great fishing
Beautiful location, clean facilities, pet friendly.
Great spot. Stayed a week. HUGE sites not even 10-100 metres from the river. Great facilities n laundry $4 a load. Basics and bait available at the shop. Boat ramp on site. Great fishing as well from both shore and kayak. Bream everywhere. Had a great time. Brunswick Heads is 5 minutes down the road. Do yourself the proverbial favour... The Terrace Espresso -food and coffee were amazing! Wood fired pizza from the pub! Gelato from Gelateria... yum!!!!!
