Hidden gem We saw so much wildlife whilst camping here. The gravel road that leads to the campsite is unmarked so use the indicator on this map to find it. 15min drive from cradle mountain which was... Read more
Drive down the dirt road for quite a while until you reach the lake. There are two small spots with large rocks around them to show where the designated camping spots are. Only two available. I camped at the second one right on the water. Gorgeous view but no amenities. 17mins drive to cradle mountain visitor centre so you can’t go wrong!!
Spots down by the lake are super windy- no good in a high top. We ended up camping in the two spots closer the main road and they were more protected. Nothing in the way of amenities. Really close to cradle mountain!
