Old Camp is close to toilets, bins and a lot of beautiful swimming spots on the Allyn River, including Ladies Well. It’s the most popular campsite in Chichester State Forest and unfortunately, signs of its use are everywhere. Between broken glass and bottle tops, the campsite is not somewhere you can walk around barefoot. The rubbish doesn’t have to ruin your camping experience though as Old Camp’s facilities and location are very good and the river does not have anywhere near as much litter as the camping area.
