Being surrounded by beautiful trees is the highlight of this campsite. It features black, powdery dirt instead of grass, which we hadn't anticipated, but it wasn't a major issue. However, if it rains, the area could easily turn into a muddy swamp. Unfortunately, the experience is significantly hindered by overcrowding—sites are packed tightly together, like sardines in a can. While we love camping, it's puzzling why so many sites have been crammed into this area. Cars are everywhere, which detracts from the natural ambience; no matter where you look, there's another vehicle in sight. It's disheartening because, with a little more space, this place could be breathtakingly beautiful. We often wonder why they haven't added a few more sites since there seems to be enough room. In its current state, the setting, which has so much potential, feels ruined. We would only consider returning with a group and booking several sites together to make the visit worthwhile.
