Close getaway from Brisbane. Great if your fishing. A lot of mosquitoes so don’t forget the mozzie spray.

Toilets need more attention, or bring ua own, showers are ok, but some what open, misses would only shower at night lol... Citranela pots to burn, (4 bottles 4 nights) worked great with 4 small Potts, as there is lots of migies at night and mozies, we found citranela to be the best and some rid.. I Caught heaps of mud crabs, by hand with a little scoop net 30cm round at night with a real good torch or head lamp). Cooked 6 up, so U are up for a great feed, also found lots of shrimp and prawns, using a cast net.. Had bait and enough to feed on while fishing.. Great for kids, lots to see and explore.. Lots of fire pits bring ua own untreated would as rangers come once a day so do police.. Lots off tables up near the water..

4wd access only! You have been warned don’t make my mistake ? National park so specific permits are needed to access and large fines if caught by rangers!
