Had a lovely stay here last night. No bookings - you just find a spot for yourself and pay with the caretaker, who is lovely. $50 for the night, 2 of us staying in a rooftop tent. Lifesaver as everything else was totally booked out and really reasonable for this area. We were a bit scared due to the other reviews on here but it was honestly a great spot. The toilets and showers were great, and had been cleaned again by the time I was up in the morning. Hot water in the showers a bonus too. Cute little kitchen and picnic table area as well, everything was clean in there too. Other campers were cooking and hanging out. Defs some permanent residents but seemed to keep to themselves. Accessible for any kind of camping.

Value for money, but I’m pretty sure it’s not open any more. They don’t answer the phone and I’ve been trying for over six months

Is Red Devils open this year for camping over the Christmas break?

$25 for a night on an unpowered patch of grass. Toilets and showers were in a putrid state, even by the standards of a backpacker. Caretaker couldn’t really care less about providing any form of customer service. Would strongly recommend looking at other options, even if they are a bit more expensive.

We stayed here for a couple of nights over New Year. The number of people was crazy so not a surprise the condition of showers and toilets and the kitchen was really bad.. like the worst backpackers hostel.. i haven’t seen those cleaned in those couple of days... i would give 2 stars if not 1 for my experience. But the caretaker was a good man and I believe the reason to be a few staff people on site like 2 or 3 and they had to deal with the craziness of NY. Payed $100 for a couple unpowered site but pretty sure regular prices are lower..
