I was in a tent on an unpowered site and this was my first camping experience. There was some grass but not much and there were big shady trees. Camp kitchen was very basic with kettle, microwave, toaster, bbq and a table and bench. It was also equipped with crockery and there was soap to wash dishes along with dish towels. It was open on the one side but was clean and I found it adequate for my needs. There was also another bbq under a shelter. Good laundry facilities which I didn't use. Nice clean bathroom with hot showers and toilets. Being a smallish campsite it was relaxed. It is on the main road but traffic quietened down soon after 10pm.
